BayTech’s RPC28 offers flexible power management, including individual
receptacle control – on, off, reboot and circuit-level power metering.
The RPC28’s command interface is an RS-232 port which can be connected to a
local terminal, BayTech’s DS Series and F Series controllers or any RS-232
terminal server. The DS Series and F Series controllers provide SNMP, SSH, Web
and Telnet support for multiple RPC’s.
When combined with BayTech’s Global Power Management Software and DS Series
or F Series controllers, the RPC28 becomes part of a remote power management
strategy, which includes the ability to control single- or dual-corded devices
as well as monitor power to avoid tripping breakers and manage real-time load
density.
Like all of BayTech’s power management products, the RPC28 delivers reliable
PCB-based power distribution. Because the receptacles are built on circuit
boards, they should never fail due to faulty wiring or cold solder joints.
Manage Power to the Receptacle Level (On, Off, Reboot)
- Reboot unresponsive equipment
- Turn off unused receptacles
- Log and maintain receptacle connectivity
- Monitor and control power using existing NMS software or BayTech's GPM
software
- Standard power distribution for single/dual corded applications
Monitor Current Level with True RMS
- Receive alarms based on preset thresholds
- Audit circuit prior to plugging in more equipment
- Plan cooling requirements by using watt readings
- Audible and LED alarm warnings
Monitor Internal Temperature
- Receive alarms based on preset thresholds
- Eliminate equipment failure due to excessive heat
Well-Suited for High-Density Applications
- 20 controllable receptacles
- Single-cord power input
- Zero-U unit
